Owners comments:

Lady Mys has only been used by me and my wife and we have only had guests on board on a few occasions. The time periods we have sailed with her are 3 to five months during the winter months. The other time during the year she has been laid up at a marina

Lady Mys was bought, in 2013, by a Swedish company that arranged for a professional sailing crew to sail the boat to Panama where I took her over. The reason I wanted it on it was that I had my previous boat lying there and the old boat was also sold there

When we took over the boat we went through the Panama Canal and sailed to the Galapagos where we celebrated Christmas and New Year. Then we sailed along the coast of Nicaragua and up to Cuba. Then it was Jamaica where we put the boat up at a Marina for summer storage

The following year 2014–2015 we sailed the Dominican Republic, St. Martin further down to the ABC Islands where we put up the boat at a marina in Curacao

The next year it was the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Cuba, then up to Florida, further down through the Bahamas to Jamaica where we put up Lady Mys at the same marina as before

The year 2016 – 2017 Jamaica, St. Martin, down through the Grenadines to Grenada where we laid her up at Clarkes Court marina

Year 2017 – 2018 Grenada up to St. Martin From there we flew home in February and returned in May to sail back to Europe Arrived in Portugal in early June laid up Lady Mys at a marina in Lagos

2017–2018 Returned in November to a cold Portugal, so we sailed south via Madeira to the Canary Islands Moored the boat at a marina on the island of Santa Cruz

2018–2019 We longed to go back to the Caribbean and we signed up to sail with Viking Explorers to St. Vincent via Cape Verde, then the Corona virus came and we sailed down to Grenada and we managed to get on the last flight from Grenada to Europe. Before that, we had put up the boat at Clarkes Court

2019–2020 The corona pandemic meant that there was only sailing around Grenada for a short period.

2020–2021 Still trouble being able to sail freely, but it had eased somewhat so we could sail up to St. Lucia Thurs.

2021–2022 Sailing November-February among the islands of Grenada – Martinique

It is with mixed feelings that we will now sell our dear Lady Mys who we have sailed with and cared for so well for 10 seasons. Yes, we have cared for her as if it were our own child. But we are now starting to get older and we have both now reached the age of 80 Then it is time to think about something else.  Every time has its time. We really have to hope that Lady Mys gets a new owner who will like her as we have and that she can sail on many nice waters for many years to come

For a turnkey yacht, ready for new adventures, take a look at Lady Mys!
